Ever since then, I always keep at least a small bottle (200ml) of the paint I mixed up for a project stored away.

Looking forward to what will be next!Burkhardhttp://dhcwargamesblog.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3279786472578722137.post-86703710325813347032011-06-08T19:24:09.356+01:002011-06-08T19:24:09.356+01:00Magnificent ! They’re all appreciated.

@MiniMike – I feel better if you’re dropping things too!

@Captain Richard and Peabody – thanks very much guys!

@Anibal – Thanks, and very best of luck with that grand plan and the new job. I want to try and cover “trench paraphernalia” in another post, where I will do all the links to the suppliers. However, to keep you in the loop, here’s a brief list:

Top strip – resin cast boxes from Hovels 25mm accessories range, helmets from The Assault Group (pack of 10), map from the foil off a wine bottle, miniature wine bottle holding down the map from Scotia-Grendel Miniatures.

Bottom Strip – woodland rabbit (!) from Irregular Miniatures, plastic corrugated iron from Richard Clarke (I’ll ask him where he got it), boxes with notepad from Old Crow Miniatures, pile of ammunition boxes from Scotia-Grendel Miniatures.

All the grenades, rifles, concentration charges and water bottles were from The Assault Group (I purchased some and some were, very generously, donated to my by the sculptor, Richard “Tricky” Ansell).

@Porky – thanks, although I was worried on many occasions that I’d really messed it up. It’s not really as dark and miserable as I first thought about making it, but in the end just dark grey and dark brown paint doesn’t really look good on a table. So I went for a compromise.

@Christopher – many thanks indeed. Hopefully you’ll enjoy what’s coming up later in the Summer in that case!Sidney Roundwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14795563060856586670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3279786472578722137.post-60371210798007720882011-06-05T20:49:15.934+01:002011-06-05T20:49:15.934+01:00Absolutely great work!!
