Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the read about Laarden and its wake up call as to the danger they find themselves in, but you‘ve pulled off yet another masterpiece of painting. That green/yellow combination is the bees knees and the hand paonted flag the icing on the cake. I‘m really enjoying this whole project immensely and you really should consider writing a book (albeit maybe not as outrageously overpriced as the one above) on Laarden and it‘s people. I‘m sure you‘d have it in you.Moiterei_1984https://www.blogger.com/profile/13808567081733803572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3279786472578722137.post-43244548535011246502019-04-24T20:32:28.488+01:002019-04-24T20:32:28.488+01:00Hi Mike - and thank you so much. I know that academic scholars themselves are disappointed, as the crazy prices being charged by academic publishers (for example, for a published PhD thesis) just limit the range and readership of their work. Of course, academic publishing is a business, and these books have a limited audience, but I would be hopeful there's a better middle ground).

On a happier topic, I've loved the details of your tour of Ireland, Mike.
